—"Animaniacs: Volume 2" (Warner, 1994, five discs, $44.98).

—"Pinky and the Brain: Volume 2" (Warner, 1996, five discs, $44.98). These Steven Spielberg-produced cartoons — about Yakko, Wakko and Dot, and lab mice Pinky and the Brain, respectively — are hysterical, a nice homage/throwback to anarchic Warner Bros. shorts, which, like those classics, hold up wonderfully. Terrific fun for kids, but parents can watch and enjoy, and not feel at all guilty.
