SWIMMING: The Utah men's and women's swimming and diving teams will travel to the Ohio State Invitational for the three-day invitational today through Sunday in Columbus, Ohio. The meet in the McCorkie Aquatic Pavilion on the campus of Ohio State Universitywill feature some of the top teams from around the nation.
Westminster
WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL: Junior Angie Johnson was named Frontier Conference's most valuable player and was joined by freshman Allison Culp on the all-conference first team. Two more Griffins joined Westminster's honorees, with sophomore setter Monica Shorts named to the second team and fresham Tahnie Taylor receiving honorable mention. Culp and Taylor were part of the conference's all-freshman team.

BASKETBALL: The Salt Lake Community College men's and women's basketball teams both prevailed in contests against Treasure Valley Community College on Tuesday. The men won 97-44, led by Gary Wilkinson's 16 points. The women, 93-54 winners, were led by Breanne Law, who finished with 18 points.
