Self says the Salt Lake-Ogden area ranks No. 37 overall for healthy communities for women. It hits No. 3 for least sunburns and least smoky. It also placed in the top 10 for "unhappiness," coming in at No. 4.

How'd some other cities fare?

Best environment: San Francisco, Calif.

Worst environment: Houston, Texas

Fewest migraines: New Haven-Meriden, Conn.

Most migraines: Cincinnati, Ohio

Healthiest eaters: Oakland, Calif.

Unhealthiest eaters: Tulsa, Okla.

Fittest: Seattle, Wash.

Least fit: Huntington, West Va./Ashland, Ky.

Most dangerous roads: Birmingham, Ala.

Safest roads: Bergen-Passaic counties, N.J.
