Our state Legislature and Tax Commission feel the public is too dumb to understand what an estimated tax surplus is and what should be done with it. They know knowledge is power, and they want more power over us. I, for one, want monthly estimated tax surpluses to be calculated and made public once again so we can support legislators who truly represent our wants and needs.
