Voters should finally know the official outcome of the Nov. 7 election today.
The Salt Lake County Clerk's Office is expected to finish recounts in three races by the end of the day, said Jason Yocom, deputy clerk.
Democratic challengers in two House races asked for a recount, as did an incumbent on the Jordan School Board.
Democrat Jay Seegmiller asked for a recount after hearing of his 19-vote loss to House Speaker Greg Curtis in District 49. Democrat Laura Black called for a recount after an 18-vote defeat to GOP incumbent Mark Walker in House District 45.
Incumbent Lynette Phillips asked for a recount after a 12-vote loss to Tracy Cowdell for Jordan School Board seat No. 6.
Races are eligible for recounts if vote margins are less than one vote per precinct. An audit on the recount should be done by the end of the week, Yocom said.
