LEHI — Because of a possible conflict between prospective Mountain View Corridor roads and their close proximity to Utah Lake, UDOT is hosting an open house to gather public input on possible alternatives.

The meeting will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 6 at Snow Springs Elementary School, 850 S. 1700 West, Lehi.

A focus of the meeting will be to discuss proposed alignment shifts that are being considered by UDOT. A potential conflict between the Mountain View Corridor's road connections and Utah Lake was discovered as part of an Environmental Impact Study conducted by UDOT and the Federal Highway Administration.

The Environmental Impact Study is expected to be complete in fall 2007.

The Federal Highway Administration is slated to sign off on the study in 2008.
