"There's not going to be an ideal split until a state just falls together with an ideal geographic makeup," he said.

Bramble welcomed Plewe's input and noted that the committee has considered almost 10 different plans, including G, H, I and J.

"On Wednesday, before we're done, we may have K through Z," he said. Lawmakers at each stop urged the public to visit the state Web site, look at the maps and provide feedback to the committee.

"Our Web site (le.utah.gov) has a redistricting link," Clark said. "People can pull up maps and all the meeting notices and agendas. There is also an opportunity for everyone to make comments and provide feedback to this committee, and we really welcome it."
