SPANISH FORK The City Council will hold a public meeting tonight to discuss the future options for North Park.
The North Park area, which is near 450 E. 1000 North, has been identified by the City Council as a Community Development Area.
The area, roughly 40 acres, includes the 15-acre North Park.
Preliminary plans for the area have indicated that the park may need to be moved, although no firm plans have been presented or approved.
The city has identified a possible location for the park to be relocated if the developer requests the entire area of the CDA, and the purpose of tonight's meeting is for residents to voice opinions on what kind of facilities they would want if a new park is built.
The open house will be held at the High Chaparral on the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds, 475 S. Main, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
