Leon Jackson III sparked the offense after coming in the game late in the first quarter. He threw for 146 yards and two touchdowns, and got the Aggies to within two scores of tying the game.

The Aggies allowed 491 yards (229 of which came in the first quarter) and trailed 21-0 minutes into the game.

New Mexico State returned the opening kick to the Utah State 47 and scored one play later. NMSU finished with 109 return yards.

The offense tallied 332 total yards, but couldn't overcome the huge first-quarter hole created largely in part to the special teams and defense.

As elated as the 19,341 fans at Rio Tinto Stadium were when Nat Borchers scored the game winner in the 93rd minute on Saturday night, no one was happier than Kyle Reynish.
Colleges should get aid
The cost of college football is too much for the colleges and the NFL has an abundance of cash. It only makes sense for the NFL to help play for college football.
