RFK Jr. to talk Sunday on the environment

Environmental activist, attorney and best-selling author Robert F. Kennedy Jr., will speak at Westminster College on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. in the Vieve Gore Concert Hall.

Kennedy's lecture, "A Contract With Our Future" will discuss the important role our natural surroundings play in our work, our health and our identity as Americans.

One of Time Magazine's "Heroes for the Planet," Kennedy has earned the reputation as a leading defender of the environment from his litany of legal actions, numerous publications and as president of Waterkeeper Alliance.

The event is being presented by Great Salt Lakekeeper and Westminster's Roots & Shoots program. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at Westminster College, local REI stores, Patagonia Outlet and Sam Weller's Zion Bookstore. Proceeds from the event will benefit Great Salt Lakekeeper.
