How 'bout the new name?

With the change of name of the Delta Center to EnergySolutions Arena, my vote for a new team name is the Fall Outzz.

I'm pretty sure the Jazz will now be playing in the only venue named after a toxic garbage disposal company. I guess they decided changing the name of the company and airing all those deceptive television commercials weren't enough. What an embarrassment.

William C. McGregor

Bountiful

Maybe EnergySolutions Arena isn't so bad. It may be a fitting compliment to the "new look" Jazz who have finally reached the solution for energizing themselves into a competitive bunch.

Gary C. Swensen

Taylorsville

Having bought two cars this year from Larry H. Miller, I think I have the right to give my opinion. I hate the new name. How about "The Utah Jazz Arena"?

Laurie Williams

Salt Lake City

I applaud Larry H. Miller for having the courage to reward EnergySolutions with the naming rights to the former Delta Center. He investigated what they do and found it to be favorable. Perhaps naysayers in the state should do the same. Unfortunately, in Utah, education about nuclear energy comes from "Spider-Man" comics, "Godzilla" movies and episodes of "The Simpsons."

Kevin Christensen

Springville

Nuclear waste dump. Utah's good image. Sold out. It's all about the money. "You gotta love it, baby"? Not me!

Glen Davis

Holladay

While the Jazz are riding high, Larry Miller has sunk to a new low. EnergySolutions Arena? The name rolls off the tongue like winter flu phlegm.

James Christensen

Farmington

The 76ers have "The Answer." Now Utah has "The Solution." With the new name on the Delta Center, everyone is looking for a new name. How about "The Hot House" or "The Hot Box"?

Todd Hougaard

South Jordan

My family and I are appalled at Larry H. Miller's choice to put profit ahead of the feelings of Utah citizens. We are disheartened to find we didn't really "know that guy" after all.

Anne Johnson

Sandy

I am going to keep a close eye on my elected representatives who attend games at the Nuclear Waste Arena. And I'll demand to know who is footing the bill. If its EnergySolutions, I will demand to know what the quid pro quo might be.
