Key components of Wal-Mart program

The program applies to all Wal-Mart customers with a prescription from a doctor that can be filled with a covered generic.

The uninsured also are included in the program.

The program covers 331 generic prescriptions, including 14 of the top 20 prescribed drugs in the United States.

The $4 pricing is available in 3,009 pharmacies at Wal-Mart stores in 38 states.
