An airplane assisting in the search for a Utah County couple at Strawberry Reservoir crashed while trying to land on a nearby road.

The pilot was looking for Steven and Catheryn Roundy, who vanished after their fishing boat capsized last Wednesday. During the landing, the plane hit an unexpected amount of snow and flipped over, but no injuries were reported.

During Wednesday's search, however, officials located a body in the water. After recovering the body, it was determined to be too decomposed to belong to either of the Roundys, a Wasatch County sheriff's dispatcher said.

It was the second unrelated body recovery at the reservoir since the boating incident was reported last week. The body of Drake McMillan, 46, was found Friday. McMillan disappeared in August 2001 after jumping into the lake for a swim. The body recovered Wednesday was taken to the state Medical Examiner's Office to attempt to identify the individual.

The Roundys, of Orem, were boating with two others when waves sank the small craft. The other passengers were able to swim to shore.
