OREM — The International Children's Choir will perform Friday at 7 p.m. in the Ragan Theater at Utah Valley State College.

The International Children's Choir recently represented the United States and Utah in the fourth annual World Choir Games in Xiamen, China.

The choir was one of more than 400 choirs from 80 countries.

They were awarded two gold diplomas and two bronze medals.

The choir has been artists-in-residence at Carnegie Hall, St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican, at St. Martin-in-the-Fields and Canterbury Cathedral, in Israel, Germany and with the Czech National Orchestra in Smetana Hall, among others.

The group also sang for the Festival of Lights in Washington, D.C., with Kurt Bestor, and was featured in the nationally touring production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" with Donny Osmond. The group has also recorded for soundtracks, movie trailers and video games.
