EPHRAIM — The Zions Bank Top of the Mountains Bowl announced Tuesday that Snow College, ranked third in the NJCAA, will meet Coffeyville College, 13th in the NJCAA, in the third-annual Zions Bank Top of the Mountains Bowl. The game will be played at noon, Saturday, Dec. 2 in Rice-Eccles Stadium.

"The Kansas and Western States Football Leagues are perennially among the top in the NJCAA and Coffeyville and Snow are perennially at the top of those leagues," said Kevin White, chairman of the Zions Bank Top of the Mountains Bowl Committee. "But our bowl isn't just about tradition — both of these teams deserve to be here based on their performances on the field this season."

DIXIE ROTARY BOWL: Fort Lewis College will make history on Dec. 2 when it travels to St. George to face Dixie State in the 21st annual Dixie Rotary Bowl. This will mark the first time the Dixie Rotary Bowl has been played at the NCAA Division II level and the first time a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference team has played in the bowl game.

"We're very honored to play in the game against Dixie State," said Fort Lewis coach Ed Rifilato. "It will be a nice completion to a great season."

The Skyhawks finished their season at 6-4 overall (.600) and 6-2 in league games (.750), placing second in the RMAC for the second straight year.

Dixie State, which is in its first year transitioning from a junior college to a NCAA Division II college, finished their inaugural season in the D-II ranks with a 1-9 record.
