Well done, Mr. Rumsfeld

After all the ankle biters and small parochial minds are in the dustbin of history, generations will marvel that Donald Rumsfeld established two forward bases, Afghanistan and Iraq, from which to confront our implacable enemies and save Western civilization — on the cheap and with a tiny loss of noble warriors.

Well done, Mr. Rumsfeld. We will still be there 40 years from now. Dare I say there will be bases named after Donald Rumsfeld?
