Scott Fields, head coach and president of basketball operations of the Utah Eagles announced that final free-agent tryouts will be held Friday and Saturday in Salt Lake City.
The Eagles will begin play in the CBA on Dec. 1 at home against the Minot Skyrockets.
"I hope to find a player that might have slipped through the cracks and needs an opportunity in a veterans camp to make his dream come true," said Fields. "I want to see the passion of these young men, and some players might have fallen off the radar of the international teams and their local markets, so I want to give them the opportunity to showcase themselves."
Fields said that the team would like to take "at least one free agent" into his invitation only veterans' camp, "but he would have to really come in and really be prepared and hungry and take advantage of this showcase."
