Utah Arts Alliance (2191 S. 300 West) — "SLC INK, Original Tattoo Art Exhibit," featuring local original tattoo art, through Nov. 25.

Utah Artist Hands Gallery* (61 W. 100 South, 355-0206) — New works by David Maestas through Nov. 15.

Utah Museum of Fine Arts* (University of Utah, South Campus Drive, 581-7332) — Department of art and art history faculty exhibition, featuring faculty work in painting, photography, ceramics, sculpture, graphic design, printmaking and illustration, through Jan. 21, 2007. "Sideshow," featuring new, large work by Bonnie Sucec through Jan. 28, 2007. "The Art of the West: Reinterpreting Western Images," featuring art from the museum's collection and works on loan from local collectors. "Africa: The Arts of a Continent," featuring works from the permanent collection of the UMFA. Also artwork from the museum's permanent collection is continually on display.

Utah Museum of Natural History (1390 E. Presidents Circle, University of Utah) — "Ancient Microworlds," featuring photographed and magnified fossils, through Dec. 31.

Williams Fine Art* (Main lobby, Eagle Gate Plaza, 60 E. South Temple, 534-0331) — Specializing in early Utah artists: John Hafen, Lee Greene Richards, LeConte Stewart and more, including contemporary painters.


OUTSIDE SALT LAKE CITY

Art Cottage (26 W. Tabernacle, St. George, 435-668-5154) — Artwork by L'Deane Trueblood and Annette Everett, featuring sculpture, oil, pastel and watercolor.

Fine Arts Gallery (Braithwaite Liberal Arts Center, Southern Utah University, Cedar City, 435-586-5432) — "Los Caprichos," featuring 80 etchings by Spanish master artist Francisco de Goya (1764-1828), through Saturday. "SUU Adjunct Faculty Art Exhibit" through Nov. 18.

Brigham City Museum-Gallery (24 N. 300 West, Brigham City, 435-723-6769) — "Men of Biblical Proportion," featuring 51 art quilts by male artists, through Dec. 1.
