KSL radio is No. 1 again for the fourth time in the past 15 months. The station, at AM-1160/FM-102.7, has the largest audience in the Salt Lake radio market with 8.6 percent of all listeners, ages 12 and up.

This is the "summer book." Arbitron's estimates are conducted each month but averaged each quarter, and only sister station KSFI has been able to temporarily unseat KSL in the past 10 years.

KXRK, KODJ, KJMY and KSOP all showed strong improvement in the summer book, while KBER, KZHT and KNRS-AM all had significant declines.

KUER RATINGS — As the summer Arbitron book was released last week, FM-90.1, one of Utah's noncommercial public radio stations, displayed its largest ever audience. Station manager John Greene reported that KUER had a Salt Lake metro-area audience of just over 108,000. Add statewide listeners and that figure jumps to 127,000.
