Salt Lake County pets of the week

Patchie is an affectionate 2-year-old female. She's mellow, gentle and apparently patient, since she's been waiting for more than two months for someone to fall in love with her and take her home.

Patchie would like to point out that our shelter currently has an abundance of cats available for adoption. Mild temperatures have caused many mother cats to have not only a spring litter this year, but a second one in the fall. We've had as many kittens lately as we generally do during peak kitten season. As always, we encourage people to spay and neuter their cats, and to help some of our fabulous felines find homes, we're offering discounts through the month of November. Kittens (up to one year) are $10 off, cats are $20 off, and if you adopt one, you'll get the second cat or kitten for $30. Please give a cute kitty a chance at life.
