LEHI — The proceeds from this year's annual Gingerbread House Festival will benefit the Boy Scouts of America "Learning for Life" ethics program and the PTA Art Education Fund. This partnership helps instill character and integrity in many diverse groups of Utah children. The areas targeted are education, ethics, safety, environment, health and well-being.

Children, schools or companies wishing to donate gingerbread houses need to deliver and set up their creations on Nov. 7 and 8 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Thanksgiving Point's Art Institute. Persons or groups donating a house will receive four tickets to the festival.

See the festival Web site for house specifications and details.

Entertainment will be converging Thursday afternoon through Monday evening.

On Friday, Nov. 10, the festival will include a "From the Met to Rock City" event featuring Italian Tenor, Antonio Miguellangelo, at 6:30 p.m. followed by the classic rock band "Love as It Was" at 7:30 p.m. There will be a gala dinner/auction celebration for sponsors on Nov. 11, with celebrity guests, food and live entertainment.

Interested sponsors should call 437-6219 and ask for Mike.

Eric Dowdle, reknowned folk artist is the founder of the festival.
