Senate chief to speak

PROVO — Utah Senate President John Valentine, R-Orem, will speak at noon on Monday at the Provo Library at Academy Square, 550 N. University Ave.

He will address the Utah County Republican Women.

Valentine first served in the Legislature in 1989. He was appointed to the Senate in 1998 and was elected in 2000.

A light lunch will be served. Call Sharon Stucki at 763-7429 or Barbara Packard at 225-0919. The public is welcome.
