Utah County positions that are already decided

The following Utah County government positions have already been decided:

Utah County assessor: Republican Kris Poulson ran unopposed at the Republican county convention in April and is uncontested in the general election.

Utah County Attorney: Republican Jeff Buhman, who is uncontested in the general election, won the seat by beating incumbent Kay Bryson at the county convention.

Utah County clerk/auditor: Republican Bryan Thompson was chosen over Cary McConnell in the June 27 primary election. Thompson is uncontested in the general election.

Utah County Commission (seat A): Republican Gary Anderson ousted incumbent Jerry Grover in the primary election. Anderson is uncontested in the general election.

Utah County recorder/surveyor: Republican Randy Covington ran unopposed at the county convention and is uncontested in the general election.

Utah County sheriff: Republican Sheriff James Tracy was unopposed at the county convention and is uncontested in the general election.

Utah County treasurer: Republican Robert Kirk is running uncontested in the general election after winning the spot over Kim Jackson at the Republican county convention.
