The Downtown Alliance will present its Downtown Achievement Awards at its annual meeting from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Nov. 2 at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center, 255 S. West Temple.
The awards recognize individuals and organizations for extraordinary contributions to Salt Lake City's downtown. The 2005-06 winners are: The George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Foundation; Utah Heritage Foundation; Wasatch Property Management for its First Security Bank Building restoration; Big D Construction for its headquarters facility; Zions Bank for the Zions Bank Tower headquarters; Cowboy Partners for The Parc at Gateway Condos; Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral restoration; and Steven and Cleves Weber for the 149 S. Main restoration.
