Kehau Hao

Lehi Pioneers

Sport: Volleyball

Class: Senior

Position: Middle Blocker

The numbers: Hao is an unheralded cog in the Lehi lineup. As the Pioneers rolled to a tie with Provo for the region championship, Hao has added solid play and consistent teamwork to the mix for head coach Jamie Ingersoll, who said Hao rarely has a bad night. She hit more than .400 in a three-game match against Springville last week and had 10 kills past Timpview in three games last Thursday. Hao is also a menacing force at the net with her jumping and blocking ability.

Nash Fowler

Timpanogos Timberwolves

Sport: Football

Class: Senior

Position: Slot back/cornerback

The numbers: The Timberwolves secured a playoff spot with their crushing win last week over Mountain View, and in that game, Fowler scored three touchdowns — one on a 15-yard pass reception, one on a 68-yard pass reception and another on a 58-yard punt return. A week earlier, the speedster caught two touchdown passes against Springville. His biggest game might have been earlier in the season, when he caught a short touchdown pass against American Fork and then returned an interception 67 yards for a TD.
