TREMONTON Police arrested one of Utah's "Most Wanted" criminals after finding an abandoned vehicle on I-15.
The Box Elder County Sheriff's Office said deputies found a stolen vehicle about 3 a.m. Friday on I-15 near Tremonton. As they were investigating it, deputies spotted another vehicle approaching the abandoned car and then taking off.
During a stop of that car, police said they arrested three people on offenses ranging from drug possession to illegal possession of a firearm. One of them was identified as Gustavo Garrido, 33, who was listed on Utah's "Most Wanted" list for a number of assaults and burglary.
