While all of the time, materials and other things are being donated, the family will still have one need when the project is completed — money.

The family will still have a mortgage from their old home and some increased utility costs. To help out, many events will be going on over the next few days.

Today a benefit concert and luau will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Utah State University. All proceeds will go to the Pauni family.

Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband, Isaac Hayden and Polynesian bands will be playing at The Spectrum at 7 p.m. The concerts are free, but organizers will be asking for donations.

An account has also been set up for the family at Wells Fargo Bank.
