The Indian Walk-in Center is gearing up for its 8th annual Health Fair and Diabetes Fun Walk/Run.
The 2-mile walk and run starts at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at the center, 120 W. 1300 South, in Salt Lake City. The center will hold a health fair runs from the end of the walk/run until 4 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. It includes health information, health screenings and basic service referrals from community organizations, health service providers and local and state health departments.
There will also be entertainment including chair aerobics for all ages and traditional Native American dancing. There will be basketball games for youth.
