A new round of subpoenas have been issued in the case against accused child killer Craig Roger Gregerson.

The 20-year-old man's defense lawyers issued subpoenas on Tuesday to the Utah County Sheriff's Office, the Orem Police Department, the Division of Child and Family Services and the Provo Police Department seeking records about Gregerson and his family or any records of incidents at his family's Orem home.

The Salt Lake Legal Defenders Association also issued another subpoena to Timpanogos Regional Hospital seeking records about a sleep study involving Gregerson.

Gregerson is accused of kidnapping and killing 5-year-old Destiny Norton. The girl vanished from her backyard on July 16, triggering a massive volunteer search. She was found eight days later in Gregerson's basement.

Prosecutors allege Gregerson lured her into his home, smothered her and then sexually assaulted her body. Police said Gregerson admitted to an FBI agent that he fantasized about kidnapping Destiny and plotted it out at one point.

Gregerson is charged with aggravated murder, a capital offense, and first-degree felony child kidnapping. He is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing in November.
