As part of a national campaign to reach women, Speaking of Women's Health will hold community events in Wal-Mart stores across America on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to teach and encourage women to take control of their health before they face major health issues.

Women who attend the free event will receive a free book, "It's The Right Time: To Take a Pledge for Better Health." The book is filled with health, well-being and personal safety information.

Since launching the campaign more than two years ago, women have taken more than 2.7 million pledges to improve their health by making one small change in their daily lives. According to a news release, taking a pledge is an important first step to help women improve their overall health and well-being.
