Baseball playoffs: Padres at Mets (6:19 p.m., Ch. 13); Tigers at Athletics (6:19 p.m., FX)

Jericho (7 p.m., Ch. 2): A stranger suffering from radiation sickness comes to town.

Dancing With the Stars (7 p.m., Ch. 4): Another elimination.

Lost (8 p.m., Ch. 4): Henry makes Jack an offer difficult to refuse. (It's getting easier to forget about this show — after an intriguing season finale and a cool flashback at the beginning of last week's season premiere, it was quickly back to being obtuse, confusing and aggravating.)

The Biggest Loser (8 p.m., Ch. 5): Utahn Heather Hansen remains alive on this reality show. And she continues to, um, make an impression on viewers, what with last week's performance — running around a cruise ship screaming; complaining about a task; winning immunity; and trying (and failing) to manipulate an alliance, which ended up backfiring on her team. It's all pretty entertaining, but it has stirred up a hornet's nest on the Internet, where a whole lot of viewers seem to have a whole lot to say about Hansen. (That's my attempt to be tactful, by the way.)

CSI: NY (9 p.m., Ch. 2): A serial killer is inspired by T-shirts.

The Nine (9 p.m., Ch. 4): Egan is a sudden celebrity.

Dateline (9 p.m., Ch. 5): This replaces "Kidnapped," which moves to Saturdays on Oct. 21.

Great Performances (9 p.m., Ch. 7): The Cleveland Orchestra performs at Carnegie Hall's opening night.
