UVSC to celebrate its 65th with ball

OREM — Utah Valley State College President William A. Sederburg will host the annual President's Scholarship Ball, a black tie optional event, to raise money for student scholarships Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. in the McKay Center.

The ball, commemorating UVSC's anniversary, will feature a six-course meal and reception presented by UVSC culinary-arts students and performances by UVSC's ballroom dance team and orchestra.

Four of UVSC's former presidents will be in attendance: Wilson W. Sorensen, Marvin J. Higbee, Kerry Romesburg and Lucille Stoddard. A reception will precede the ball from 6-7 p.m., followed by dinner, entertainment and dancing with music by Dick Losee's band. The cost is $150 per plate.
