Humane Society offers dog deals

The Humane Society of Utah will be offering incredible deals on dog adoptions at its shelter all during the month of October, says HSU Executive Director Gene Baierschmidt.

"October is National Adopt-a-Dog month, so of course we want to do something very special for the canines," he said.

To encourage the adoption of more of these pets, all adult dogs not classified as VIPs (pedigreed, papered, etc.) can be adopted for only $40 each instead of the regular $75 fee.
