Typical 2006 starting salary for Utah pharmacists is $85,000.

Utah had 1,261 pharmacists in 2005

67 percent of Utah pharmacists earned an average annual income of $80,000 to $120,000.

26 percent of Utah pharmacists worked more than 40 hours a week.

Debt load for pharmacists at the time of graduation reported by pharmacists with zero to 5 years of experience is $42,600.

Nationally, male pharmacists working full-time earned $45.56 an hour. Female pharmacists working full-time earned $43.47 an hour.
