Offense

Utah used a solid first half to pull away from TCU. Quarterback Brett Ratliff threw a pair of touchdown passes in the second quarter.

GRADE A-

Defense

The Utes kept the short-handed Horned Frogs in check. They secured the victory by forcing fumbles on three consecutive late drives.

GRADE B

Special teams

Louie Sakoda had another solid game punting. He made a pair of field goals but just missed a 50-yard attempt late in the first half.

GRADE B

Overall

A "B" for bounce back. The Utes put the Boise State loss behind them and improved to 2-0 in Mountain West Conference play by topping TCU.
