Instructions for playing Frisbee golf

How do you play? The rules are much like traditional golf, but instead of a ball and clubs, players use a flying disc or Frisbee. The object of the game is to complete each "hole" in the fewest number of throws.

What are the "holes"? The "holes" actually are targets. The most common is an elevated metal basket called a pole hole. Numbered posts also can be used. Players complete the "hole" when their Frisbee lands in the basket or hits the post.

Why is it popular? Frisbee golf doesn't require a greens fee, players don't need to rent a cart, and they never get stuck with a bad tee time. It is designed to be enjoyed by people of all ages, male and female, regardless of economic status.
