GOP certainly outdid itself

As early as 2001, former page Matthew Loraditch told ABC News that pages were being warned about the predator conduct of former Rep. Mark Foley. Even House Speaker Dennis Hastert has admitted that his office knew about it as early as 2005. We will see what the FBI investigations will say. Taking Rumsfield's example, Hastert is also refusing to resign and is now attempting to pass himself off as just another "duped" victim. Give me a break.

Since in power, Republicans have violated federal and international laws, endorsed torture (is that a Christian value?), lied us into a war, lied about not receiving a multitude of warnings before 9/11, fabricated and distorted "evidence" of WMDs, indicated in extensive dirty lobbying, paid journalists to advocate government policy, and employed fear to push legislation and scare voters from using their rational minds. They have no real proof that we are safer. We just have their "word."

Excuse me if I am skeptical after the slew of lies they have fed us.

We have a new Vietnam, a new Watergate and a new McCarthyism. The Grand Ole Party certainly outdid itself.
