PROVO — The LDS Film Festival 2007 has issued a call for entries for its upcoming festival.

The LDS Film Festival is a showcase event for LDS filmmakers held in January at the SCERA Center for the Arts.

The festival offers a number of categories for submissions, including the popular short film competition and 24-hour filmmaking marathon.

For the first time, the festival will introduce a seven-page script competition. All submitted scripts will be shared with three filmmakers, who each will select a script and turn it into a short film specifically for the event.
