On pages throughout the Elvis Book of Mormon are handwritten notes. For example, "King" is underlined throughout the book. On another page there's this notation: "My daughter Lisa needs this church. She's nine. Please help her...."
(Lisa Marie Presley was born in 1968; that would date this Book of Mormon entry circa 1977.)
In the Book of Enos, verse 4, where Enos discusses his "mighty prayer," this is written, possibly by Elvis, on the side: "And he ans. (answered) me!"
On Mosiah 13:35-36, where it mentions, "Thou shalt have no other Gods before me," is written: "... not me either," possibly a note to fans not to worship him.
