The Utah College of Applied Technology on Wednesday named Scott Snelson of West Valley City to be acting campus president of the Salt Lake/Tooele Applied Technology College Campus.
Snelson has been serving as vice president of Student Services at UCAT's Mountainland Applied Technology College Campus in Orem.
Meanwhile, officials have started a search process for a new campus president.
