Main, Bountiful, 292-0367) — "Chairmen's Choice: Graduate Students from University Art Departments," featuring works by 29 graduate students from Brigham Young University, the University of Utah and Utah State University, through Nov. 3. Public reception tonight from 7-9.

    Contemporary Design & Art Gallery (30 E. 300 South, 364-0440) — "Clay Remains," featuring ceramics from Clay Arts Utah and Capital Ceramics, through Oct. 31. Reception Oct. 20, from 6-9 p.m. during monthly Gallery Stroll.

    Eccles Community Art Center (2580 Jefferson Ave., Ogden, 392-6935) — Main Gallery: "Faces of Africa," featuring oils and pastels by Jerry Hancock through Oct. 26. Carriage House Gallery: Watercolors by Sandra Cooney through Oct. 28. Opening reception for both exhibits tonight from 6-9.
