LDS Hospital has been awarded the National Research Corporation Consumer Choice Award. The NRC conducts consumer preference studies each year across the country. Of the more than 3,200 hospitals named by consumers in this year's study, only 234 medical centers ranked high enough to earn the award.
LDS Hospital and other award winners will be recognized this week in Modern Healthcare magazine.
Earlier this summer, LDS Hospital was ranked as one of the best hospitals in America in a record four different medical specialties by U.S. News & World Report magazine. The hospital also earned the 2006 Best of State Award as Utah's top medical center.
