From Deseret News archives:
Broadcast options for general conference
Here are some of the options available for Utah:
On TV: On Salt Lake-area television, all four general sessions will be broadcast live on both KSL-TV, Ch. 5, and KBYU-TV, Ch. 11, over the public airwaves, as well as via local cable television.
KSL-TV will also air special LDS programming between conference sessions both Saturday and Sunday afternoons (noon-2 p.m.). KBYU-TV will repeat each conference session over again, after they air live. (Repeats from noon-2 and 4-6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.)
In addition, BYU-TV, carried on local cable TV, some out-of-state cable TV and some satellite TV services, will also air the four regular conference sessions live.
BYU Broadcasting stations will rebroadcast General Conference sessions throughout the coming months.
On the radio: Over Salt Lake area radio, KSL Newsradio will, as usual, transmit conference live on its traditional frequency, AM 1160. KSL is now simulcasting on FM-102.7, so conference will be broadcast on that frequency as well.
KBYU radio (FM-89.1) will broadcast all four of the conference sessions live. It will air special conference-related church programs in between sessions each day.
On the Web: Anyone in the world with access to the Internet can watch or listen to general conference (except general priesthood meeting) live via an English-only video stream, or choose from audio-only streams in 56 different languages.
Go to www.lds.org and follow instructions after clicking on "Broadcast," located on the middle right side of the main LDS Web page.
