People on the move
The law firm of Bennett Tueller Johnson & Deere announced that David M. Kono, Ryan B. Braithwaite and John R. Barlow were made partners in the firm.
Scott Parkinson, senior vice president of retail banking at Bank of Utah, was recently appointed to the board of trustees for the Economic Development Corp. of Utah. Parkinson has been with Bank of Utah for the past 10 years.
Bullfrog International, a Bluffdale-based manufacturer of portable spas, has hired Kristen Larsen as accounting specialist. Ken Davis was promoted to Western U.S. sales manager. Larsen has an extensive background in finance and auditing. Davis has been with Bullfrog for nearly four years, during which time he has worked closely with the company's national sales manager.
Park City-based Asset Communications Inc. has named Mike Hecklinger vice president and senior account executive for the Midwest/Western regions. Hecklinger will manage the marketing programs for client accounts and develop new accounts. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont.
Fred A. Moreton & Co., a Salt Lake-based insurance, surety, risk management and employee benefits brokerage firm, announced staff changes. Daniel L. Jones has joined the firm as executive vice president. He will oversee all operations for the company's existing offices in Salt Lake City, Boise, Denver and its new office in Phoenix. Craig L. Smith was named president of Moreton & Co. Utah.
The law firm of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll announced that Barbara Bagnasacco was named a partner in the firm's business and finance department. Her practice concentrates in the area of corporate financing, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances, general corporate matters, technology transfers, licensing arrangements, international transactions and market entry strategies. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, she practiced with an Italian law firm.
