I really wish I didn't feel a need to write this letter. It concerns the beautiful, talented young golfer, Michelle Wei. It has become increasingly difficult for me to watch what is happening in her life. She is seemingly being exploited not only by the media, but also by her parents and the PGA. And for what? We all know the answer to that.
Perhaps the most disappointing of all is Michelle's apparent need for the publicity, applause and praise of the world. She has certainly been an eager and willing participant.
Shame on the media. Shame on her parents. Shame on the PGA. Shame on her sponsors.
