Brigham Young

CROSS COUNTRY: Both the men's and women's cross country teams will travel to the Bill Dellinger Invitational on Friday. The University of Oregon will welcome 24 teams.

UVSC

SOCCER: Utah Valley State's soccer team continues its home stand with home games against Big Sky foes Eastern Washington (2-6-1) and Idaho State (3-6). The Wolverines host EWU on Thursday at 4 p.m. and ISU on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Southern Utah

CROSS COUNTRY: Southern Utah University's men's and women's cross country teams will make their second trip to southern California this Saturday to run at the UC Riverside Invitational.

Utah State

SOCCER: Utah State returns to the Chuck & Gloria Bell Soccer Field to open a three-match homestand, beginning with hosting Eastern Washington on Friday at 10 a.m. The Aggies then host San Francisco on Monday at 3 p.m.

USU wraps up its homestand and the non-conference portion of its schedule on Oct. 6, hosting in-state foe Utah Valley State at 3 p.m.

VOLLEYBALL: Utah State's women's volleyball team will continue its season-long four-match homestand today when it hosts 22nd-ranked New Mexico State in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum at 7 p.m. in a key Western Athletic Conference match.

Weber State

GOLF: Freshman Brett Jessen shot a three-round total of 210 to finish in a tie for third place, leading the Weber State men's golf team to a fifth-place finish at the Idaho Vandal Classic.

SLCC

VOLLEYBALL: Down two spots from last week to No. 12, the nationally-ranked Bruins of Salt Lake Community College will meet last year's NJCAA National Champion, Southern Idaho, this weekend in a volleyball showdown. SLCC will be vying for its first conference win of the season.
