Operation English — Volunteers needed to teach English classes weekly. Bilingual or teaching experience useful. Training provided.

People Helping People — Businesswomen needed to mentor women in the Successful Employment Program.

South Davis Community Hospital — Needs volunteers for a variety for opportunities within the hospital.

Ouelessebougou-Utah Alliance — Volunteers needed to be cashiers during sports events to sell board games to benefit Ouelessebougou.

Adopt-A-Native Elder Program — Volunteers needed Tuesday and Friday mornings to help prepare for fall activities.

Salt Lake County clerk— Poll volunteers needed to help on Nov. 7, Election Day. Volunteers need to be available the entire day.

Friends for Sight— Volunteers are needed to follow up preschool vision screenings. Volunteers will call parents to make sure preschoolers get eye exams. Only takes 2-3 hours per week. Volunteers will log referrals for records.

Utah Food Bank Services — Volunteers needed who can help shut down swamp coolers for low-income senior citizens and people with disabilities in the Salt Lake Valley. Hours are flexible.
