Latest action: Utah Board of Travel Development's unanimous vote Tuesday to put $250,000 toward developing a marketing plan to promote potential nonstop Delta Air Lines flights between Salt Lake City International Airport and Paris.

Marketing-effort partners: Salt Lake City International Airport, which will contribute $250,000, and the Salt Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau, which will provide $150,000.

Contingency: If the flights never become reality, the $250,000 reverts to the Utah Office of Tourism.
