An Orem man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on one count of enticing a minor over the Internet to meet him for sexual activity.
According to an indictment handed down Wednesday, the man, 23, corresponded with a person he believed to be a 13-year-old girl and arranged a meeting at a park in Payson to "engage in illegal conduct" last week.
That person turned out to be an agent with the Utah County Sex Crimes Task Force. The man was arrested by agents at the park. If convicted, he faces a 10-year mandatory minimum sentence with a maximum of 30 years.
