In James F. Oshust's letter ("Rocky off saving planet again," Readers' Forum, Sept. 21) he wanted to remind citizens of Salt Lake City that Mayor Rocky Anderson was currently on a trip to Alaska to, in his words, "save the planet." Yet he forgot that President Bush took a month's vacation in 2005 and went home to his ranch in Texas.
I think President Bush forgot that he waged a war in Iraq that he hasn't been able to finish. At least Mayor Anderson is using vacation time in such a way that is beneficial.
